5:30 p.m. - Evensong for Ascension Day will be held in the Church. Evensong is the sung office of evening prayer and will be sung by the St. Cecilia choir.

10:00 a.m. - The annual Sunday school Festival of Faith will take place in Brackenridge Hall. Come and enjoy our celebration of another successful Sunday school year. The 3rd graders will be presented with bibles and the festival wraps up the 2007 -08 school year.
11:00 a.m. - Youth Mission Trip group will meet in Crawford Hall on the 3rd floor.

9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Rummage Sale. Come and find treasures galore at the Youth Mission Trip rummage sale in Crawford Hall. All proceeds go to support the youth's trip to the gulf coast this summer.

9:00 a.m. - Calvary's parenting group presents 'Children and the Internet'. This discussion will be lead by Calvary parishioner Jeff Scheel and will be held in Brackenridge Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Sunday, May 11
8:45 a.m. - Strawberries 'n Cream Social will take place in Brackenridge Hall. The Vestry and Stewardship Committee have combined forces to sponsor a social on Mother's Day. They recognize that stewardship is about much more than the annual pledge campaign, and want you to know they see and appreciate all the gifts of stewardship. If you have ever given time to a committee, lined a fruitcake pan, put on a choir robe, or painted a wall, YOU ARE INVITED. Don't forget to bring your mother!
11:00 a.m. - Confirmation class meeting will be held in Menefee Conference room. This is an informational meeting for all of those who are going to be confirmed or received by the Bishop on May 17th.

6:00 p.m. - The annual choir potluck dinner will be held in Brackenridge Hall. This fun event is open to all choir members and their families. A sign-up sheet will be posted in Brackenridge.

9:00 a.m. - Small Groups: Retirement
11:00 a.m. - Regional confirmation service at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Savior in Faribault, MN with Bishop Jelinek presiding. The service is open to all and all are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Sunday, May 18
9:00 & 10:00 a.m. - Following the 8 & 9 a.m. services the annual garden planting will take place in the Oasis courtyard. We will be planting 3,500 flowers, a few replacement shrubs and one tree and need your help in doing so. Wear your gardening clothes to help with the layout, planting, watering, mulching and clean-up of this fun event. Team leaders are needed and a sign-up sheet will be posted in Brackenridge Hall.
