Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation & Marriage

Baptism is the sacrament by which a person is adopted as a child of God; made a member of Christ's Body, the Church; and a member of the kingdom of God. To arrange for the Sacrament of Baptism for your child or yourself, contact Heather in the church office.

Confirmation is the rite in which we express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop. Any person aged 16 or older may choose to prepare for Confirmation. This includes not only young people but also adults who haven't been confirmed in the Episcopal church. Confirmation preparation for high school students is included during the Sunday morning youth group gatherings at 10 am from September through May. Preparation for adults who are considering being received into the Episcopal church happens during Lent each year.

If you wish to be confirmed or received as an adult into the Episcopal Church, please contact Heather in the church office.

If you wish to schedule a wedding at Calvary Episcopal Church, you can arrange a meeting with the Rev. V. Beth Royalty by contacting Heather in the church office at 507-282-9429.
