DESCRIPTION:Calvary’s Fellowship Core is hosting another Happy Hour on Friday\, August 5\, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The first one was a great success with about 30 parishioners celebrating TGIF. We will meet at Beetle’s Bar and Grill\, located two blocks west of Saint Marys Hospital on 2nd Street SW. This is informal. Come when you can\, stay for as long as you like. Popcorn and water are free\, and you can purchase other food and drinks. \n

The classes will last 60 minutes and attendees may bring lunch or we will sometimes spring for pizza!

SUMMARY:Picnic Church
DESCRIPTION:On the last Sunday of each month beginning in June\, Picnic Church! 4:30 p.m. on June 26\, July 31\, and August 28. We will gather in the Oasis Garden for a very simple\, come as you are\, service of Holy Eucharist. Readers will be invited out of the gathered congregation and participation from all ages will be encouraged. Bring a lawn chair to break bread together in the Eucharist\, and then stay to break bread together in a picnic! We will pull out our charcoal grill and have charcoal\, etc.\, available for whatever you bring\, and have water and lemonade there as well. Our Oasis Garden truly is a place of beauty and a perfect place for a summer picnic and games (we have games!) on a Sunday evening.  \nAll are welcome!
