DESCRIPTION:This is one of two services each Sunday: at 8:30 am\, on the first and third Sundays of every month\, Calvary offers A Service of Morning Prayer. This beautiful\, ancient service consists of prayers\, canticles\, and scripture readings and is the traditional way of greeting the day in our Episcopal tradition. It is about 30 minutes long\, and readers will be invited out of the gathered congregation by the lay leaders. \nThe nursery\, staffed by two adults each Sunday who are Safeguarding God’s Children trained\, will be available 8:30 am – 11:15 am.

We will be using the book\, For Such a Time as This: An Emergency Devotional\, by Hanna Reichel. Professor Reichel is the Charles Hodge Professor of Systematic Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary and an elder in the PCUSA.  The book is described as “a guide for ordinary Christians seeking to live faithfully in extraordinary times.”\n\nThe cost for the paperback is $19.00 on Amazon. We will be using the book\, For Such a Time as This: An Emergency Devotional\, by Hanna Reichel. Professor Reichel is the Charles Hodge Professor of Systematic Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary and an elder in the PCUSA.  The book is described as “a guide for ordinary Christians seeking to live faithfully in extraordinary times.”\n\nThe cost for the paperback is $19.00 on Amazon.
