SUMMARY:Faithful Innovation: WALK
DESCRIPTION:We’re trying to discover what God is doing in our hearts and in our neighborhood. We want to hear what you have to say. We’re listening. \nFaithful Innovation is a process that invites participants to engage in simple spiritual practices and small experiments to develop deeper relationships with God\, fellow faith community members\, and neighbors. Under the leadership of Rev. Blair Pogue (ECMN Canon for Vitality)\, David Reiman\, Colleen Spillers\, and Colleen Timimi are part of the SE Mission Faithful Innovation Process Pilot program. Calvary’s team attended the first meeting in Faribault in July. Subsequent meetings will be this November and in April 2023. The team also meets monthly on Zoom with a trained coach\, all with the intent to Listen\, Act\, and Share. \nDuring the month of October we will be Walking\, Talking\, and Dwelling. \n\nWALK\nSunday\, October 9\n9:15 am to 10:15 am \n \nMeet in Brackenridge and grab a to-go coffee (we will supply cups with lids) and join us for a walk around our neighborhood. The walk will last approximately 25 minutes. For those unable to walk\, we invite you to gather in Feith Family Park (adjacent to the Calvary building with the Mayo statues) for observations and reflections about our neighborhood. During our walk\, we invite you to take pictures and make observations about Calvary’s neighborhood. \nWe will then return to Brackenridge where post-its will be available for you to share your thoughts on what you saw.

DESCRIPTION:We will gather in the Oasis Courtyard at 4:00pm on October 9 to bless all of God’s creatures – all those who walk\, hop\, slither\, swim\, or slide are welcome\, along with their people. \nDog and cat treats will be available and our offering will benefit Paws and Claws of Rochester. Come enjoy the beauty of our fall garden and bring the creatures who bring you so much joy to receive God’s blessing!
