DESCRIPTION:Our Calvary Motet Choir is joining with the Chancel Choir of First Presbyterian Church of Rochester to present Lessons and Carols on Sunday\, December 15. The first presentation will be at 10:15 am at First Presbyterian Church. The second presentation of the Lessons and Carols will be at Calvary at 4:00 pm. \nInterim Music Director Jeff Daehn and Presbyterian Director John Stender have been working closely to put together a meaningful variety of choral and instrumental music. Joining the choirs will be a string quintet that will have both solo and accompaniment duties. \nThese special worship services are free and open to the public.  We hope many of you will make our Lessons and Carols part of your Advent and Christmas celebrations.

SUMMARY:Soup Lunch\, the Greening of the Church\, and Decorating the Brackenridge Tree
DESCRIPTION:On December 10 at 11:30 am\, you are invited to join fellow parishioners at Calvary to prepare the church for Christmas. This is an intergenerational event with activities for all ages. We will enjoy a soup lunch\, hang fresh greens in the sanctuary\, make Christmas crafts\, and decorate the tree in Brackenridge. \nIf you can attend\, please sign up in Brackenridge or use this link to sign up with Google forms. Please indicate the number who will be attending and let us know if you can bring soup\, help with the greening\, and/or help with kitchen clean up after lunch.

DESCRIPTION:As Advent begins on Sunday\, December 3\, please join in a very special Lessons and Carols service at 4:00 pm that afternoon. This year\, we are partnering with the clergy\, choir\, and people of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church\, at Calvary\, for this beloved service. \nThis traditional Anglican service is full of scripture readings and beautiful music\, all guaranteed to begin our four-week Advent season with a time of contemplation and inspiration\, as we prepare for the festivities of Christmas and the yearly celebration of the birth of the Christ Child.
