DESCRIPTION:This is one of two services each Sunday: at 8:30 am on most Sundays\, Calvary offers a Rite I service of Holy Eucharist. Rite I uses traditional language and is quiet and contemplative. The first and third Sundays of every month\, Calvary offers A Service of Morning Prayer\, the traditional way of greeting the day in our Episcopal faith. \nThe nursery\, staffed by two adults each Sunday who are Safeguarding God’s Children trained\, will be available 8:30 am – 11:15 am.

SUMMARY:Blessing of the Backpacks!
DESCRIPTION:All children – nursery school age to High school Seniors\, are invited to bring their school backpacks to the 10:30 service on August 23 to receive a blessing as they prepare for the new school year. And…all adults are invited to bring a symbol of their work – briefcase\, stethoscope\, garden trowel\, wooden spoons\, cell phone – any symbol of the work that God has given you to do – we will bless you and that work along with giving God thanks for God’s blessings.
