Musician Bob Schlief will be back this year to entertain us\, and Charlie’s Eatery will again be catering boxed lunches with ham\, turkey\, or veggie sandwiches\, potato salad\, chips\, a pickle\, and a cookie. If you choose the gluten free option\, your choice of ham or turkey will be wrapped in lettuce and the box will include fresh fruit\, a wrapped pickle\, and a gluten free cookie. We will have a jar out to collect free will donations. \nPlease use this link to let us know you are coming! We will accept reservations through September 3rd.  \nWe will be in the courtyard (in case of rain we will be inside) following the 10:30 service. On September 10\, we are going to find out who is the greatest 2023 Pie Baker at Calvary. (Don’t worry! Our 2022 winner\, Lee Gilmore\, has graciously agreed to bow out this year so that the rest of us have a chance.) To enter\, just have your pie at Calvary by 10:00 am. Please put your name on the bottom of your pie plate. \nOur panel of guest judges will taste the pies and choose a winner. We will then serve the pies at the picnic. \nThe rules are simple.
