SUMMARY:Sunday Worship: A Service of Morning Prayer
DESCRIPTION:This is one of two services each Sunday: at 8:30 am\, on the first and third Sundays of every month\, Calvary offers A Service of Morning Prayer. This beautiful\, ancient service consists of prayers\, canticles\, and scripture readings and is the traditional way of greeting the day in our Episcopal tradition. It is about 30 minutes long\, and readers will be invited out of the gathered congregation by the lay leaders. \nThe nursery\, staffed by two adults each Sunday who are vaccinated\, boosted\, and Safeguarding God’s Children trained\, will be available 8:30 am – 11:15 am.

Kirsten Vitale will be teaching the middle and high schoolers how to decorate their cookies while the younger kids will be mixing up and baking some delicious cookie dough! To conclude\, we will be ordering pizza for supper! RSVP to Michelle McKean. If anyone would like to donate some of their favorite Christmas cookies for the bake sale\, please drop them off Saturday during the Bake-off or bring them to the church no later than 8:45 am on Sunday\, December 8\, 2024.
