DESCRIPTION:This is one of two services each Sunday: at 10:30 am\, Calvary offers a Rite II service of Holy Eucharist. Rite II uses more contemporary language and includes congregational and choral singing. The Motet Choir will lead our music. \nThe nursery\, staffed by two adults each Sunday who are Safeguarding God’s Children trained\, will be available 8:30 am – 11:15 am.

SUMMARY:Choral Evensong and Organ Recital
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, May 17\, for an Ascension evensong featuring the works of Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958). The Motet Choir will perform settings of the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis from Vaughan Williams’ service for village choirs (1925) and his anthem “At the Name of Jesus.” An organ recital by Calvary’s minister of music\, Travis Whaley\, will follow the choral evensong.
