Welcome to Calvary Episcopal Church!

Welcome to Calvary Episcopal Church! We are an inclusive faith community, grounded in our rich traditions and committed to serving all. Our unique location in downtown Rochester, Minnesota, surrounded by the Mayo Clinic, gives us the opportunity to minister to not only our parish family but also visitors to our community.

Many members of our congregation have come to us from other spiritual traditions. Whatever your faith background, and whether you come from near or far, we invite you to become part of our Calvary family.

Mayo Clinic Visitors

Calvary Episcopal may be the only church in the world that is surrounded by a major medical center. From our unique corner of the world, we are called to minister to those seeking health care in Rochester. We embrace this opportunity, and we invite and encourage you to make Calvary your spiritual home while you are in Rochester. If we can be of any assistance to you, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Healing Service

Visitors to Rochester are invited and encouraged to attend this service at 5:15 p.m. on Mondays. We pray for people facing physical and emotional pain, directing our spiritual energy to God's healing grace for the courage to move forward beyond hopelessness. Anyone who wishes may be anointed with oil, symbolizing the ongoing touch and renewal in Christ.
