It’s that time of year again! The All-Parish Picnic is back, and we are excited to welcome Travis Whaley, our new minister of music and organist.

We are serving boxed lunches, which will include your choice of ham, turkey, or veggie sandwiches, potato salad, chips, and an apple. If you choose the gluten-free option, your sandwich will be on gluten-free bread. AND we will have homemade pie for dessert! Musician Bob Schlief is entertaining us again this year.

Please use this link to sign up online. You can also sign up in Brackenridge, or call, text, or email Cindy Heins at (507) 993-5824 or heins.cynthia@gmail.com. We will be in the courtyard (Brackenridge Hall, in case of rain) following the 10:30 service. Please bring a lawn chair for yourself and one to share if you can!

The cost of each boxed lunch is $14. We would appreciate a donation to defray the cost. There will be a wooden box out on the day of the picnic for donations. You can also use the QR code in the Bulletin and Brackenridge.

**THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP IS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7.**

And announcing, in conjunction with the parish picnic…

The Fourth Annual Great Calvary Pie Bake-Off

Come one, come all to the fourth annual Great Calvary Pie Bake-Off on September 14! All homemade pies baked by Calvary parishioners are welcome. The Greatest 2025 Pie Baker at Calvary will be crowned in the courtyard following the picnic! Then, we will all be able to sample the delicious fruits of our pie bakers’ labors.  To enter, just have your pie at Calvary by 10 am the day of the picnic with your name on the bottom of your pie plate.

We are going to judge the pies starting at 10 am to give our panel of celebrity judges time to finish before the 10:30 service, so please don’t be late. The rules are simple. Your pie must be homemade by you. There is no age limit for our bakers! We welcome all pies! Let the baking begin!
