ALL are invited to the Blessing of the Animals and to mark St. Francis of Assisi Day on Sunday, October 5, at the 10:30 am service. We will have chaos and prayers, music and barking, and a whole lot of fun. Animals will be blessed, humans will have Holy Communion, and treats will be liberally shared for dogs and cats and hamsters and guinea pigs and cows, horses, chickens and rabbits, and if they behave, snakes.
Bring your beloved pets, and bring a friend! This is a favorite, beloved liturgy. Even if you come with a picture of your cat, come and share in the joy of God’s creation – ALL of creation!
