MAYO/CALVARY CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
As was reported in the Rochester Post Bulletin on June 10, 2025, a new schedule of road closures to accommodate progress for Mayo’s Bold. Forward. Unbound. work has been published for the rest of June and July. From Monday, June 16, through Monday, July 28, 3rd Avenue SW from 1st St. SW and 2nd St. SW will be reduced to a single lane to accommodate ongoing utility work.
Of particular interest to Calvary members and visitors, two July weekends will be impacted by this work: From the evening of Friday, July 11 – early morning on Monday, July 14, and then again from the evening of Friday, July 25, through early morning on Monday, July 28, the intersections at 3rd Ave SW between 1st St. SW and 2nd St. SW will be closed to through traffic. Of course, this block is on the east side of Calvary and those attending church will have to think through how to access parking. The Damon Ramp will remain open.
