About Tim Kingsley: The Rev. Timothy M. Kingsley serves as the director of logistics and global risk for the General Convention of The Episcopal Church, where he oversees the planning and coordination of logistics, operations, organizational resilience, risk management, and emergency preparedness for the church’s governing body and major events and is a resource to the bishops and executives of The Episcopal Church. Tim is an Episcopal priest with more than 35 years of leadership experience in public safety, emergency management, security operations, and pastoral ministry. A United States Navy veteran, he has served in executive public safety positions, including chief of public safety at Teachers College, Columbia University, and has advised faith communities, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations on organizational resilience, behavioral threat assessment and management, crisis response, and all-hazards emergency planning. Before joining the General Convention Office, Tim served as provost of Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he provided strategic leadership for worship, operations, pastoral care, and community engagement. Throughout his ministry, he has sought to integrate faithful leadership with practical preparedness, helping organizations create environments that are both welcoming and resilient. Tim continues to collaborate with local, state, and federal public safety partners and serves as a law enforcement chaplain. His work focuses on strengthening the church’s operational readiness while supporting a culture of hospitality, safety, and faithful service. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, mentoring leaders, traveling, and exploring the intersection of faith, leadership, and organizational resilience.
