Lenten Activities

ASH WEDNESDAY – February 17th, 2021

Hoping for Ashes?  Come to Calvary.

Rev. Beth will be outside the Second Street entrance under the lychgate from 10:00 am-3:00pm and from 4:00-5:00 pm to administer ashes and pray with people. Please wear a mask and socially distance (except when receiving the ashes). Rev. Beth will be double-masked and wearing fresh disposable gloves. And don’t worry, she’ll be bundled up and will pop inside to warm up as needed!

Ongoing Every Day

Continuing Each Week

Beyond the Pandemic:  Hope and the Holy Spirit, A Lenten Series

Mondays, February 22nd- March 22nd, 2021
7:00-8:00 pm on Zoom

Who will we be when the pandemic is over — in our own lives, our communal lives and in our faith journey? How has the Holy Spirit been alive in a time of personal and societal upheaval? What changes has it wrought and where is the Holy Spirit leading us in a post-pandemic world? What will “normal” look like at Calvary when we at last reopen our doors?

These are some of the questions we’ll discuss in our Lenten Series, led by Rev. Beth, using stories, scripture, poetry, and topical articles. If you would like to receive a Zoom link or more information,  please email Rev Beth at rector@calvary-rochester.org
